The dark clouds of the North gathered anew as King Ryons of Norgales laid siege to Cameliard. Sir Cerdic, Ser Cwenhild, and Sir Avalloc did ride out with the grand host under the Pendragon's banner. On the eve of the great clash, the knights did steal into Cannock Chase Wood, where they caught the fierce giant King Ryons unarmed in his pavilion during a secret assignation with his lover, Lady de Vawse. They did capture the tyrant, paving the way for the bloody Battle of Terrabil where Sir Pellinore did cleave King Lot of Lothian, breaking the back of the northern rebellion forever.
